Raising alcohol issues and concerns

Case Studies

The North East Regional Alcohol Advisory Group Profile

The North East Regional Alcohol Advisory Group (NERAAG) brings together managers and practitioners from the North East region with an interest in the alcohol agenda. It aims to look at a whole range of issues across the alcohol agenda, as they affect the North East, particularly in the context of the region’s health and concerns about community safety. There are also links with a number of other policy areas, including licensing, the economy of the region and culture. More

BE RESPONSIBLE WITH YOUR DRINKING

Drink water or soft drinks in between alcoholic drinks to dilute the alcohol

Eat before or during drinking as this will slow the rate down as to how quickly the body absorbs alcohol. Pace yourself. Sip your drink rather than taking large gulps. More
